7 Deadly Business Blogging Mistakes

Why do we seek to make more money? I’ll tell you why, because money buys freedom. Freedom to go where we want. Do what we want; when we want. If you are like me, you love to travel. You’ve got wanderlust and you got it bad. Simply put: Money finances our wanderlust and traveling makes us happy. Here’s one thing many people don’t know — you can actually travel and make money at the same time. This article is intended to introduce you to one way to make money traveling by travel blogging.

We kept a female travel blog when we were in Britain last Summer and we found it was the best way to record our experiences. Now we have a complete, day by day, record of our holiday with corresponding photos. It is a permanent record of our trip that we can refer to any time. Far better than dim memories of what we did and fading photos in an old album.

Now…we move to the savvy marketers who operate their travel blogs as a home based business. Either full-time or part-time. They love travel and making money from home. And, speaking of money, what’s the one thing all these travel blogs have in common? Most of them have AdSense ads on their blogs. When a visitor clicks on these Google Ads, they make money!

If the author made typos, be careful if you choose to point them out. Use a helpful approach versus “hey, do you know how to spell?”, or simply ignore them and comment about the content instead.

There are many retired people who have the time and the money to do just that. The Baby Boomer’s are in their 60’s now and are very interested in learning more about this information. All you need to do is provide them with the right info and they will read and follow your articles everyday.

Once you have a blog established, then you begin writing. Yes you will have to write about the places you’ve been to as well as those that you haven’t been to yet, for your main goal is to introduce them to your readers. If you have the will and power and drive to write, then this job would be of course, very easy.

Go for a theme that is relevant to your blog: The template with an exciting slideshow and amazing color scheme on the top may look attractive to you but if the theme does not befit your ‘travel blog’, for instance; it is better to leave it and take a theme that is more appropriate and relevant.

These are the very basics you need to establish a profitable travel blog. If traveling and making money appeals to you consider starting a travel blog.
