Space is an important part of a Bearded Dragon enclosure. He’s got to have the room he needs to roam around. If you place your Beardie inside cramped quarters, it won’t be long before you’ll notice him hitting the sides of the enclosure or acting in an aggressive manner.
Reptiles need a place to watch the world from. Your reptile will love having a place to run up and look down on the rest of his home from. Think about placing something inside the area which is fairly high but can easily be scampered up. A real jungle vine put into the Terrarium Singapore at an angle will also give your pet reptile the opportunity to get a little closer to the light and warm up on chilly days.
The Terrarium workshop should also have an adequate amount of heat. The beetles prefer a temperature anywhere between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. You can buy a reptile lamp to provide them with this heat. The bulb should be either 50 or 70 watts.
If you do not have one of these glass cookie jars here are some guidelines for choosing an alternate container. Choose a large container that is glass or plastic (preferably clear plastic if the project is for younger children) and insure it has a very large mouth opening so little hands can reach easily into it. Then finally, choose something with an easily removable lid. This will allow you to cover it for a closed system but also to remove it if it is over watered.
Place your basking lamp on the top above the screen to provide loads of light and warmth for your reptile to warm up to. Again,’ its best to talk with your local pet store, or read up on the species you plan to keep to ensure you choose the right kind of lighting/heating so your pet reptile stays happy and healthy for many years to come.
Avoid sharp edges or decorations that will block the turtle’s path. Also, do not use gravel or other materials that are less than 2 centimeters in diameter.
NOTE: Day / Night Difference – Your frog needs to be able to tell day from night. For this reason, an under-tank heater may be better than a heat lamp. That way, you can maintain the temperature at night without having the bright light on in the frog’s face. Also, you should keep the frog’s terrarium in a location where it can naturally experience light during the day and dark at night. Try to keep it in a room that will not have lights turned on often at night.
